Finally - a closing date! May 28! For some reason (after gently complaining when we were told it would be 60 more days), we now have a completed house (well almost). Since our last visit, there's been lots of touch up painting inside, the tile in the family room and kitchen that was not laid randomly is now more random, gutters are on, the hole in the garage wall (to fix the siding) has been repaired, there is a gas meter, and a granite strip has been installed behind the stove. Another good cleaning, some outside painting (for some reason they missed the north side of the house) and a slight bit of landscape work and we're there! The building process will have taken 7 months from permit issue ... and we signed to build nearly 9 months before move in. Seems like forever.
