Just an update - things are happening daily, and at times it seems hard to believe we can't be done in April. I guess we shall see. The bead board ceiling is now done in the kitchen and breakfast areas (and around the banquette area). Looks great and will be lightly stained and finished with a clear sealer.
All the tile has been grouted and outside they have poured the front porch steps (not the greatest job - the landing at the bottom is sloped away about 20%, which doesn't feel natural). Out back (and along the south side) they are leveling the lot so we are anticipating the additional patio being poured soon with the remote natural gas outlet for the BBQ.
Work on our two new neighbors' homes to the north is progressing at blazing speed - normal for framing crews it would appear.
Next up? Back splashes and counter tops in the kitchen and baths, ceiling insulation, trim work, painting, plumbing and electrical fixtures - lots of critical observations by us.... All in all, not a bad package for 2200 sq ft.
