In our visit today (and yesterday), more progress was definitely evident.
First, the counter tops and backsplash in the kitchen are in - solid black granite with our single bowl granite sink! (Unfortunately, the backsplash wasn't installed per the diagram, so will be redone). The low voltage people have been in and installed the alarm system and Klipsch ceiling speakers in the family room. The electricians were busy with the outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, plus the main power panel, breakers and sub-panel are all in. The additional patio has been installed (and the height raised between garage and house for ADA compliance). Meanwhile, the big windstorm yesterday deposited lots of dirt everywhere which will be fun to clean up...which (fortunately) is someone else's problem.
